White Vinegar + Baking Soda + Hydrogen Peroxide + Water
Erin Huffstetler recommends making paste out of white vinegar, baking soda and water. Rub it onto the carpet stain and let dry. Vacuum up the baking soda.
In case the stain’s still there, apply hydrogen peroxide onto the stain, letting it sit until it stops fizzing. Dab to dry. Tougher carpet stains such as chocolate and wine often call for hydrogen peroxide.
